City beat Shamrock Rovers 1-0 at Turners Cross

Cork City have bounced back from their 1-0 defeat to Dundalk last Friday night to beat a strong Shamrock Rovers 1-0 at Turners Cross.

It was a hard-fought win for last seasons league and FAI cup winners and it was a Kieran Sadlier pentaly that secured all three points for the Rebel Army in front of a packed crowd at Turners Cross.
