Kevin Long linked with Preston & Aberdeen move

Burnley’s longest serving player Kevin Long is linked with a move away from Turf Moor.

The Corkman and Irish International has more or less been out of the picture since Vincent Kompany’s appointment as boss in the summer. Long joined Burnely from Cork City in 2010 and has played over 100 times for Burnley with a number of successful loan spells in between. It’s believed a number of high profile championship clubs including Preston North End are keen to sign him.

Reports suggest Scottish giants Aberdeen & Hibs are also looking to sign the talented defender. His contract is due to expire in the summer of 2023.
